A new name, new office space and a new team member

HGA has had some exciting new developments over the last quarter, firstly signing on a new part-time employee in Thembeka Mhlongo. Thembeka joined HGA Learn in August 2025 in order to carry out the 6 months of in-service training required for completion of her National Diploma Crop Production through the Mangosuthu University of Technology. She was placed at Centocow to be involved with HGA Grow and proved a real asset to our programme there. She has now taken up the role of HGA Learn’s first admin assistant while continuing her involvement with HGA Grow at Centocow. She is also studying towards an Advanced Diploma in Crop Production.

HGA has also undergone some rebranding and is no longer known as Harry Gwala Agri but rather as the HGA Foundation. We have also taken up occupancy of our first official office space which is located adjacent to the Local Collection at 9 Main Road, Underberg.
